What is the difference between legitimate network marketing and a pyramid scheme?
The key difference is what drives the money. In a legitimate direct-selling or network-marketing business, products or services are sold to genuine end customers, and compensation is primarily connected to those real sales. Recruitment may help build a sales organisation, but simply signing someone up does not generate income.
